Beverly Marie (Sutphin) Sabol was born in Annapolis, Maryland on May 8, 1962 and passed away on September 17, 2024 at the age of 62 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her mother (Agnes Cheri), step-dad (Frank (Sam) Cheri), father (Dewey Leo Sutphin, Sr.), sister (Frances M. Montgomery). She is survived by her 3 sisters and 1 brother: Joan Jones (Tom), Betty Emelio, Dewey Sutphin, Jr. (Sheila), Deborah Stoutsenberger (Bill), and her God-daughter Christina (Stoutsenberger) Murrill. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great, great-great nieces and nephews and many, many friends and relatives. She is survived by her fur-babies that she adored.
God called our beautiful sister Beverly Marie home to free her of her illness. Beverly grew up and lived most of her life in Prince Georges County. She retired from Verizon after 25+ years in various jobs, mainly as a Project Manager in IT. During her career at Verizon she furthered her education in getting her Master’s Degree in Leadership in Information Technology from John Hopkins University, Master's Degree in Organizational Development from Johns Hopkins University - Baltimore, MD, Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University Washington, DC, B.S. Organizational Management from Columbia Union College Takoma Park, MD, and A.A. Marketing Management from Prince George's Community College Largo, MD. Beverly was very proud of her education and career. After her Verizon career, she continued to work as a Project Manager in a few other companies and retired from all in April, 2024.
Beverly was only 62 years young and enjoyed her life to the fullest. She was outspoken and her many friends and family knew that they would get an honesty whether they wanted it or not. According to Beverly, what you see, is what you get, like it or not. Beverly was respected by all who knew her. She helped so many friends and family through the years.
Beverly enjoyed going vacationing all over, gardening, shopping, dinner theatres, yard sales, dining out, being around family and friends, parties, word search puzzles, coloring, reading, rescuing all kinds of animals and much more.
We all have great memories of Beverly not only for who she was, but for all those that have been touched by her kindness, generously or just being her friend.
Beverly is now at peace in Heaven with Mom (Agnes), Pop (Sam), and sister (Frances), all of her fur-babies and loved ones that went before her.
We “LOVE” you Beverly and you will be “MISSED” so much by so many!
In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to ASPCA or any Animal Rescue Organization in memory of Beverly Marie Sutphin.
