Long time local resident, Blanche Nash lost her battle with multiple ailments and died peacefully in her sleep surrounded by loved ones.
Blanche was born in Montana and spent her growing up years in Montana and Arizona. She graduated from Montana State University and from the University of Illinois. After college and graduate school, she taught home economics and after that, was director of the local Play Day Pre-School for over 20 years.
Blanche was married to Darrel Nash for 60 years. In addition to her husband, she leaves two sons and a daughter, a son-in-law, two daughters-in-law and five grandchildren.
A private memorial will be held later in the summer. The family asks that if you wish to make a gift in honor of her memory, instead of flowers make a donation to her favorite charity; Montana State University, Bozeman, Montana to be used for scholarships to low-income students.
