Brendon F. Shea

Brendon F. Shea, of Rockville, MD (formerly Bowie, MD) died on Tuesday, October 8, 2019.  Born December 28, 1949 in Boston, MA, he was a graduate of Boston College High School and Boston College.  He leaves behind his beloved wife, Mimi, and 5 children Katie Groff(Ty), Daniel Shea  (Claire), Julie Shea, Brian Shea (Tara) and Joseph Shea (Emily).  The complete joy of his life was his 8 grandchildren, Abby, Trey and Nora Groff, Bridget, Patrick and Nellie Shea, Hadley Shea and Joseph Shea Jr.  He is also survived by his siblings John Shea (Maureen), James Shea (Elaine) and Mary Ellen Nyerick (Robert) and many, many nieces, nephews, great nephews and great nieces.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 3pm to 6pm at Sacred Heart Church, 16501 Annapolis Rd., Bowie, MD where a funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 14, 2019 at 11:00AM.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gabriel Network, 2137 Defense Hwy, Crofton, MD 21114 or Little Sisters of the Poor 4200 Harewood Rd, NE, Washington, DC 20017.
