Buddy L. Hood

Buddy Leroy Hood, 44, passed away on July 1, 2024, at his home in Odenton Maryland.

Born February 25, 1980, Buddy was a devoted son to Theresa Sines and the late Elzie (Buddy) Hood and loving father to Makenzie and Makayla Hood. He was a life-long resident of Odenton and graduated from Arundel High School, then went on to his career as a painter with Powercon since 1997.

Since a young age, Buddy was always close to his family and enjoyed doing things with them like fishing/crabbing, hunting, going to Capital Raceway, Budds Creek, car shows (loved “ Lowriders “/hydralics), riding motorcycles and attending family gatherings. If you think of these words, they would describe Buddy...family, tattoos, shoes, hats, and the Raiders.

Buddy is survived by his mother, Theresa Sines, and Stepfather Gregory Sines; his two beautiful daughters, Makenzie and Makayla Hood; and many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and nieces. Preceding him in death were his father, Elzie (Buddy) Hood and his brother, James (Michael) Hood.

Services to honor Buddy’s life will be held at Beall Funeral Home in Bowie, Maryland, on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The family invites all who knew and loved Buddy to join in celebrating his memory.
