Carl A. Jeanty, affectionately known as "Papit Carlo", was born on February 12th, 1938 in Port au Prince, Haiti. He was the son of Marie Agnant and Albert Jeanty. He entered heaven’s gates on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

Carl was a fun, adventurous, and hardworking man. Everyone knew him for his smile, rhythmic whistling, and ability to make everyone around him happy. In his earlier years, he enjoyed carpentry with his father at his shop. Carl was also a great mechanic and loved working on cars. He was a handy man and could fix anything. He migrated to the United States by way of Canada in 1970 for stability and comfort for him and his family. He was a loving and committed husband to the late Adrienne Jeanty, father to 5 children, and grandfather to 10 grandchildren.

Carl’s hard work and dedication left a lasting impression on many generations within his family and at work. For over 30 years, he was employed at FEGS Health and Human Services Systems. He was a driver for the day treatment program. Carl enjoyed all things festive and celebratory. He loved listening to wide variety of music, dancing, attending carnivals, people watching, and traveling across state and country lines while creating lasting memories with his family. We will remember Carl for his unconditional love, contagious laugh, memorable stories, and words of wisdom.
