Carmela Ciccarello born November 25, 1943, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on December 11, 2020. During her time here, she touched the lives of her loving family, friends, and everyone around her. Having been widowed at a young age 30 years ago, she became both mother and father to her 4 children, Caterina, Nicola, Anthony, and Leonardo. She also thought of her daughter-in-laws and son-in-law as if they were her own Candice Diane Ciccarello, Nancy Isabel Ciccarello, and Antonio Barbaro. Although no longer with us here, she continues to be the rock for her children and her 8 grandchildren, as she looks down from us now from Heaven.

We will all miss her the sound of her voice, her gentle laugh, her warm hugs, and her amazing food. She always put everyone else first. She sacrificed for her children, her family, and her friends, never thinking of herself. She took so much joy in the happiness of others and never expected anything in return. Her family, friends, and everyone else who knew her always felt blessed to be around her. As we all feel the heartbreak of having lost her, we know that she is smiling down upon us, and telling us in her own way, everything will be okay. We love you; we miss you and one day we know that we will be with you again.

She is survived by her children, her family and her 8 adoring grandchildren: Giovanna, Carmela, Joseph, Frankie, Matteo, Gabi, Anthony, and Sophia.

Viewing will be held Tuesday December 15, 2020 between 6-8pm at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Highway, Bowie, MD 20715. The family asks that everyone attending be flexible, given COVID-19 the building capacity is limited to 10 people. We will attempt to allow families to enter together, to the best of our ability, but we will work that process as we go.

Funeral will be Wednesday December 16, 2020 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church, 1070 Cecil Ave., Millersville, MD 21108. However, with COVID-19 restrictions in place, the Church capacity is limited and we kindly ask that priority seating be given to the immediate family.
