Carroll Anthony Obert

Carroll Anthony Obert, age 82, passed away on July 19th, in Glen Burnie, MD. Carroll is survived by his wife, Mary of 13 years, as well as his sisters Martara and Twyla (Uncle George) of Glen Burnie, MD. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred, his brother Charles and his stepdaughter, Donna.

Carroll was born on July 11th, 1942, in Maryland to his parents Mildred and Anthony. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School. After high school he joined the military, serving our nation as a paratrooper in the Army. After his service he returned to Glen Burnie and worked as a longshoreman at The Port of Baltimore for 36 years.

Carroll was a great family man and loving stepfather to Donna, Barbara (Danny) Patterson, Karen (Joe) Long, and Tommy (Melissa) Allen. He was also a loving uncle and grandfather to many nieces, nephews and grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Carroll enjoyed Bingo, horses and living on the water. His family and friends will always remember him as a kind and generous man, who was loved deeply and will be missed beyond measure.

A funeral is scheduled. For July 29th, 2024. The viewing begins at 10 am, followed by a service at 11 am and graveside interment at 1 pm. A reception to follow.
