Cathy M. Gallagher

On October 27, 2020 Cathy Gallagher suddenly passed away peacefully at the age of 63. Beloved wife of her high school sweetheart, John J. Gallagher. Married for 40 years.

Cathy was born on September 23, 1957 to William A. Mecca Jr., and the late Maria D. Mecca (Rao). Cathy grew up in Bowie, MD with her family including her sister Rosemarie Mecca ( Carl Gross) and her brothers Billy Mecca (Jeanne) and Michael Mecca (Mary).

She was the beloved mother of her two daughters Catherine (Cameron Christian) and Melissa (Danny Kelly) and Mimi to her two wonderful grandchildren Camden and Brooke.

Memorial services will be held at the Sacred Heart Church, Bowie, Maryland on November 6, 2020 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow.
