Charles R. Garner "Buck"

February 20, 1931 - October 25, 2018 

It is with great sadness that the family of Charles R. Garner "Buck" announces his passing after a brief illness. Buck passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on October 25th 2018, at the age of 87. Buck will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years, Theresa Garner, his only daughter Phyllis and son-in-law Jack Federici. Buck will be fondly remembered by his three grandchildren, Angelia, Toni, and Kristin along with his five great grandchildren AJ, Delani, Jalen, Christian, and DéLias. Buck will be forever remembered by his extended family and close friends. 

Buck was loved by many people. He was a caring and giving man. Since the young age of four, Buck helped his parents Helen and Morty as they managed 97 acres of farm land in Bowie, Maryland. After the passing of his parents, Buck took over the farm and made sure he did everything he could to take care of his family. He was one in a million type of man. If you needed something done, he would be there in a heartbeat, always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a loyal, honest, brave and carefree man, who will truly be missed. 

A Celebration of Bucks life will be held at:

Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Highway, (Rt 3 South), Bowie, MD 20715, 2:00pm-4:00pm

Repast will follow and be held at:

America Legion, 9605 Old Laurel-Bowie Road, Bowie, Maryland 20720
