Chelsea Marie Fore (Overholser)

July 13, 1993 — December 3, 2021

Chelsea Fore, 28, and her unborn son, Anthony Luis Avila, passed away on December 3, 2021, due to heart issues, at her home in Palm Springs, CA. Up until two years ago, Chelsea resided in Crofton, Maryland close to her family and friends.

Chelsea is survived by her beautiful daughter, Adalyn Trivas Fore (7), her mother, Christina Garvey-Berman, her step-father, Jeffrey Berman, her sisters Lauren Collinson and Tessa Rinn, and her brothers Nicholas Perry and Taylor Berman. She is also survived by her grandmother Anna Marie Garvey. She leaves behind six nieces and nephews, Marley, Amelia, Lucy, Lilly, Connor and Nicholas, Jr., whom she loved dearly.

With a laugh that you could recognize anywhere, Chelsea (also known as “Bear” to her family) was filled with a spirit that could comfort, connect, and light up a room. Though she battled her share of hard times, her light always shined through. She shined bright for her daughter Adalyn, and loved her more than anything in this world. She shined bright for her family in their times of need. She shined bright when a friend would call her for advice or help. And now that she’s in Heaven, she’s shining bright for God’s purpose in her forever home. In fact, her favorite bible verse was Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Chelsea’s journey here on earth was one many would never be able to withstand. But no matter how hard things got for her, she always found her way back. Her smile remained, her fight remained, and her love remained. She was so excited to welcome another child into this world, and was determined to be the best mother and partner possible.

Chelsea’s ultimate purpose in this world, besides her daughter, was to help those closest to her grow into better people. Sharing the ups-and-downs with Chelsea meant you learned how to give grace, love and support even when it was hard. Her family will miss her smile, her beautiful blue eyes, her sense of humor, her warmth and her unique perception of this world around us. But most of all, they will miss their little “Bear” and the woman they believed in and loved no matter what.

She is predeceased by her father, Michael Overholser, her grandfather Edgar T. Garvey, Sr., and her cousin Jennifer Garvey.

The viewing and funeral service will be announced as soon as possible. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Beall Funeral Home and the Memorial Service is being handled by Chesapeake Christian Fellowship in Davidsonville.
