Clarence Glenn Hurst

(Clarence) GLENN Hurst (73) died peacefully at Washington Hospital Center on Tuesday morning Dec 7, 2021. Glenn passed away due to an infection and heart complications. He was born March 13, 1948 to Anna Hurst and the late Clarence Hurst in Clay, PA.
Glenn is survived by his wife Helen of 51 years. Survived by his children: Joel Hurst (Melissa) of Bowie, MD; Janelle Laubach (James) of Harrisburg, PA; Kendall Hurst (Veronica) of New Windsor, MD. Survived by 10 grandchildren. Survived by his mother Anna Gehman and the stepson to (the late Lester Gehman). Survived by his siblings: Anna Ruth Martin (Donald-late), Mary Kathryn Landis (J.D.-late), Lester Gehman (Ruth Ann), Joanna Horning (John) and Jewel Martin (Gary).
Glenn was a wonderful Respiratory Therapist at the Washington Center for 46 years. Glenn was an active at his church Capital Christian Fellowship. Glenn and Helen served as Youth Group Leaders and Awana Leaders. Glenn was a great chef for the men's Bible study. He enjoyed playing men's fast pitch softball for many years. He was an avid hunter and sports fan.
