It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Corinna Woodard, an artist, dreamer, and beloved mother, who left us on July 23, 2024.
Born in Berlin, Germany, on March 4, 1963, Corinna's life was a vibrant tapestry of creativity and love. She pursued her passion for education and art, earning a Master's degree in Art Education and Computer Graphics from Ohio State University. During her time in Canterbury, New Zealand, she also accomplished a degree in Baking, adding another dimension to her diverse talents.
Corinna was an accomplished artist, expressing her creativity through felting, ceramics, and stop-motion animation. Her work was not just an outlet for her talent but a reflection of her inner world, a place where her dreams came to life. Her art inspired and moved many, leaving an indelible mark on all who experienced it.
A true dreamer, Corinna's imagination knew no bounds. She found immense joy in the little things, always seeing the world through a lens of wonder and possibility. Her love for the ocean was a testament to her deep connection with nature, and it was by the water that she felt most at peace.
Corinna's life was filled with smiles and laughter, shared with her dear friends. Her warmth, kindness, and generous spirit made her a cherished presence in the lives of many. She brought light and joy wherever she went, creating lasting memories with those she loved.
Above all, Corinna's greatest pride and joy were her three beautiful children: Ave, Dani, and Lana. She loved them with all her heart, nurturing them with her boundless affection and wisdom. Her legacy lives on in them, a testament to her unwavering love and dedication.
Corinna Woodard will be remembered for her artistic brilliance, her dreamy spirit, her cherished friendships, and the deep love she had for her children. Her spirit will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to be part of her life.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Kits to Heart in her honor.
