Daniel Joseph O'Leary

Daniel J. O’Leary “Danny” (age 60) died peacefully on September 26, 2018 at his home in Bowie, MD after a long battle with colon cancer. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patti, his children, Shannon Reed (Matthew) and Joey O’Leary; grandchildren, Hadley and Levi.

Danny was predeceased by his father, Joseph and his mother Jeanne O’Leary. He will also be remembered by his three siblings, Michael O’Leary (Carol), Mary Moore (Craig), Tricia Cage (Marshall) and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

After graduating from DuVal high school in 1977, Danny went on to pursue a career as a machinist.

He was an avid DC sports fan. We will always remember Danny’s kindness, his humor and enjoyment of life.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 1940 Mitchellville Rd.
Bowie, MD on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD, serving Anne Arundel and Prince Georges’ Counties.
