Deborah Ann Williams (Walawender), 59, of Crofton Maryland, died September 28, 2020, at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda Maryland.
Deborah was born July 8, 1961, in Auburn, New York, to Florian and Stella (Sheftic) Walawender.
She graduated from Auburn High School, Auburn, New York in 1979. After graduation, she enlisted in the United States Air Force where she retired in 2001 as a Senior Master Sergeant. After many years dedicated to raising her four daughters, she worked for the Amalgamated Transit Union as a Confidential Administrative Assistant until her death.
She is survived by her husband Paul; daughters Linda, Heather, Skyler, and Hannah; brother and sisters and their spouses: Donald and Kathy Walawender, Denise and Steven Spafford, Dorothy Walawender and Doc Phan, Donna and Kari Wilmot, Dennis and Pam Walawender, Daniel and Colleen Walawender, and Douglas and Bethany Walawender.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Florian and Stella Walawender: brother David Walawender and sister Diane Mills.
A remembrance will take place at the Beall Funeral Home on October 10th between three and five PM. Interment ceremony will take place at a later date still to be determined. In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
