Dennis Fotis Paxenos passed away on Thursday afternoon, December 10th, 2020, suddenly while at work. Born in Athens, Greece on January 5th, 1955. Dennis was flown to the USA as an infant and was received by the open arms of his adoptive parents, Fotis and Fotini Lagos Paxenos.
Growing up in Baltimore he attended public school, The St. Paul’s School for Boys and Calvert Hall. He graduated from the Maryland Art Institute.
Multi-talented he excelled in arts and crafts, wood working, crafting jewelry and his love for photography. Dennis’ photography of the Tall Ships Celebration in Baltimore Harbor brought much acclaim. He had a love for nature especially days spent fishing with his father on the Chesapeake Bay.
Dennis worked for his cousin Jimmy and his Dad at their law firm. A quick learner, excellent researcher, bright, dependable and diligent, he quickly became an asset to the firm as a paralegal. Jimmy became the Big Brother that Dennis never had. He will be sorely missed. He was a kind soul.
Predeceased by his parents, Dennis is survived by his cousins Dennis and Demetra Psoras, Matina Psoras Bonnen, James Dennis Psoras, Stephanie and Tony Michalos, Thomas and Gretchen Psoras, Steve and Katie Nichols, Jeff and Anastasia O’Donnell, Deanna O’Donnell daughter, Nick and Charlotte Foudos and sons Sean and Devin Foudos.
Viewing and Funeral Services to be held Thursday December 17th, 2020 at 2:00p.m. at the Greek Orthodox Cemetery Chapel located at 5917 Windsor Mill Road, 21207. Internment following thereafter.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation, 24 W. Preston Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21201.
