Donald E. Brady

Donald Earl Brady, loving husband, father, grandfather, and greatgrandfather, died December 26, 2023, at the age of 88. He was born in Glen Dale, MD on January 1, 1935. He and his wife Barbara raised their five children in Bowie, MD. After becoming proprietors of six automobile repair business throughout his life, Donald retired to Paw Paw, WV where he and Barbara enjoyed mountain life and made lifelong friendships. Donald led his nearly 89 years focused on one main goal; to honor and love his recently passed Barbara Lee Brady, to whom he was married to for 71 years. He was a man of hard work, faith and family. He was steadfast when it came to providing for his family; working his way out of simple means to provide for his family and children. Donald is predeceased by his loving wife Barbara, and three sons, Donald Jr., Terry, and Dene. He is survived by his son Michael (Cindy), and daughter, Brenda (Tim). Additionally, he is survived by his 8 grandchildren, Donald III, Laura, Michael Jr., Jackie, Matthew, Danny, Gregory, and Claire. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren. He was proud of his legacy and instilled in them his hard work ethic. Donald’s kind and quiet demeanor will be missed by all he has left behind. His surviving family and friends know he is where he wants to be; walking hand in hand with his beloved Barbara Lee in the glorious meadows of heaven.
