Doris Kathryn Burke Farrell was born on September 10, 1921 in Washington, D.C. She passed away peacefully on February 3, 2021 in Ormond Beach, Florida from a fall that resulted in a fracture in her back. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, William and Edna Burke, her sisters, Vivian Burke and Anna Blancke, and her brother, Francis Burke.
Doris worked as a Secretary for the Federal Government in Washington, D.C. for approximately 35 years. Upon retirement, Doris along with her mother Edna and sister Vivian relocated to Ormond Beach, Florida and resided there until her death on February 3, 2021.
She will always be remembered as a caring and loving aunt who loved her family dearly.
She was a very devoted Catholic who loved Jesus and Mary. She also loved her cats and the Washington Football Team (formerly the Redskins).
She is survived by four nieces, Carole Shehade (Joseph), Sharon Blancke, Dolores Bryant (Robert), Robin Kreamer (Kevin) and two nephews Terry Burke (Melissa), Teddy Burke (deceased) and many other grand nieces and nephews.
