Dorothea M. Markulis

On November 17, 2020, Dorothea M. (nee Rosemary), age 83, beloved wife of 53 years to the late Basil G. Markulis, died peacefully at Gilchrist Hospice Center in Columbia, Maryland. She was the dear daughter of the late Edward and Clara Rosemary, devoted mother to George B. Markulis and cherished grandmother of Maria, Anna, Natalia and Tara Markulis.

She was the loving sister of Edward Rosemary and Deborah Smith; Sister-in-law to Veronica Rosemary, Tyrone Smith, Thomas G. Markulis, Mary Dardamanis, Olga Matsos, and the late Beatrice Jaskiewicz, Genevieve Prevas, and Amalia Tomczewski. Survived by 12 nieces and nephews, 18 great nieces and nephews, and many cherished friends and parishioners at the Annunciation Cathedral, where she served as a devoted volunteer in the church administrative office for nearly two decades.
