Dorothy Arbutus Hartman

It is with great sadness the family of Dorothy Hartman announces her passing on 5 June 2020 at Kris Leigh Assisted Living in Davidsonville, MD. 

 

Dorothy loved family and throughout her life her family meant the world to her.  She always told us, raising her three children and a special niece, Valerie Leckliter,  together with the love of her life, Bob Hartman, was the best part of her life.  Dorothy was very active in her grandchildren's life and shared many great moments with each of them.  We enjoyed sharing life experiences with Nana and all will miss her dearly.

 

She is survived by her sister, Anita Fitzgerald, her three children and their spouses Odessa Klein (George Klein), Robert Hartman (Jackie Hartman), Raymond Hartman (Debbie Hartman), 10 grandchildren: Kim Held, John Klein, Jerry Hartman, Paul Hartman, Beth Tucker, Michelle Piatek, Tonya Moore, Melissa Cooper, Jason Cubbage and Brian Hartman, 21 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

 

Viewing will be held Tuesday, 9 June 2020 at Bealls Funeral Home in Bowie, MD from 10:00 to 11:30 with graveside service immediately following at Fort Lincoln Cemetary.
