Dorothy Elizabeth Ridley

Dorothy Elizabeth Ridley was born on December 3,1931 in LaPlata, Maryland to the late James W. Lancaster || and Mattie M. Lancaster. Dorothy was raised in the Catholic faith and was a devout Catholic until she departed this life on January 24, 2025. Dorothy married the love of her life, Emmett T. Ridley, Sr., in July 1950, where they remained married until his passing on January 23, 1979. During this union, they were blessed with five children, Emmett Jr., Catherine, Charles (who preceded her in death - April 21, 2020), James (Franky), and Michael. Dorothy leaves behind to mourn her passing and to celebrate her life her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, her nephew/godson Dr. Arthur E. Perpall Il, her niece/Goddaughter Mattie Lancaster as well as a host of other family members and wonderful friends. Dorothy will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia 22211, where she will join her late husband Emmett Sr., the burial service will be held at a future date.
