Dorothy Lurene Smith

     Dorothy L. Smith, age 94, passed peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland. She was born on November 11, 1925, in Red Springs, North Carolina, to Paul H. Gibson and Magnolia McCray. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  Her husband Charles R. Smith and brother Paul H. Gibson preceded her in death. She is survived by her sisters Julia Blake, Juanita Butcher, Ana Marie Schaap.  Dorothy was the mother of 3 children; Judith Roseborough, Janine Wallace, and Cedric Roseborough and stepson Michael Smith. She leaves behind 6 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren.  In addition to many friends and acquaintances she made over the years.
