Lt. Colonel (Ret.) Earl Edmond Webb peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus on December 21, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lawrence, MA on February 17, 1935 to the late Edmond and Margery Webb (Grimes).
He passed due to complications of Parkinson’s Disease caused by exposure to Agent Orange during his assignment in Vietnam, as part of his dedicated career service of over 20 years in the United States Army.
After graduating from Haverhill (MA) High School in 1952, he graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA with a BSEE, and Army Commission. After retiring from the Army in 1980 he worked 13 years for multiple defense contractors in the Washington DC area in Frequency Management, then worked an additional 10 years for the National Weather Service as a Frequency Manager retiring in 2001.
Earl is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Carol A. (Still) and children Nancy Hayden, Thomas, Amy (John) Altieri, Laura (Aaron) Fagan, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is also survived by his brothers Richard (Brenda) and Gordon (Barbara).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Chesapeake, 90 Richie Road, Pasadena, MD 21122. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 11AM immediately followed by a Celebration of Life and military honors at Cornerstone Church, 16010 Annapolis Rd., Bowie, MD 20715.
