Earle B. Perry, Jr.

Earle B. Perry (81) was born August 6^th, 1940. He joined his late Sister Betty and Daughter Dawn December 6^th, 2021. He was Survived by his wife Norma, his daughters-Dana and Becky, son-in-law Ronald, 3 Grandkids, 5 Great Grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was a man of many professions from horse trainer/owner to fire fighter, to master mechanic, to electrician. He was a singer in a band in his earlier days and boy did he stomp the stage. Earl loved his horses and absolutely loved to watch them race. Earl was a gambler. He taught us all how to bet on horses and he picked the winners. He had a daily lotto stop only to be defeated by Sundays. Earl was also a sports enthusiast. From running track in school and numerous baseball games to bowling and horseshoe leagues, maybe a few drinking leagues in-between. Only for a “taste”. Earl made sure he made it to the see all the grandkids play. Whether it was a basketball game with Ashlee or Jimmy or a football Game with John, he loved to watch the kids play sports. Boy was Earl a joker. All the boys would call or visit just to tell a joke and he would call you all day just because he had a good one. Whether it was a holloweenie or a witch’s you know what, he kept on smiling. “There will be no cause for laughter in the cold gray morning after” this ones for the Gamblers!

Earl will be celebrated at Beal funeral home Monday December 13^th, 2021, from 6-8pm with services following Tuesday December 14^th, 2021 at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake in Earle's name.
