Edith M. Fladung

On Tuesday, August 5 2020, Edith Fladung passed away peacefully at Anne Arundel Medical Center at the age of 88.

 

"Edie" is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years, Frank; daughters Deborah and Jean, grandchildren Stacey, Lyndsay, Brett and Brody and great grandchildren, Farrah, Brayden and Adrian., along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents Mary and James Shegogue, one sister, Frances and six brothers, Donald, James, George, Walter, Richard and Frank. 

 

A life-long resident of Bowie Maryland, she will always be remembered as one filled with laughter and love. Edie was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.  Growing up in a musical family, she always had a stage presence and enjoyed singing to an audience.  Hand her a mic and let her go and you would be guaranteed  to be entertained.  She also enjoyed gardening, reading, shopping and antiquing with her daughter, Jeanne.

 

Funeral arrangements are being held by Beall Funeral Home in Bowie Maryland.  Respecting her wishes, there will be no funeral services but instead a Celebration of Life in her honor., at a later date, which will be announced to family and friends.
