Richard was a storyteller and seemed to know everything about the city and everyone living in it.
Richard loved films and television shows, especially those he grew up on like Westerns, Mysteries, and Science Fiction. He could repeatedly watch Western movie as if he had never seen them before. Richard will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and his passion for life, music, movies, and comic books. His legacy extends beyond his immediate family, touching the lives of all who knew him.
Richard loved to take care of his home and family. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Gross-Butler, with whom he shared many years of cherished memories and unwavering love. He is also survived by his two children, a son, Julian, and a daughter, Diamond, whose lives he enriched with his love, wisdom, and guidance.
