Elizabeth B. Stone

Born September 17, 1940 and died October 24, 2018, Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Attiltio Anthony "Tony" Stone, her daughters, Marian Stone Ashley and husband James Ashley, Michele Stone, and Kathleen Stone Zuniga and husband Edgar Zuniga, and her daughter-in-law Tiffany Stone. Also, her grandchildren, Jason, John and James Ashley, Dillon and Braedon Stone, Matthew and Ava Marie Zuniga. Elizabeth was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Helen and Carson Beard. Elizabeth attended Marian College in Indianapolis, Indiana and received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland.She married Attilio Anthony "Tony" Stone on September 9, 1961. They had four children: Marian Antoinette, Brian Anthony, Michele Antoinette and Kathleen Antoinette.She was an artist at heart. Loved to paint, draw and sculpt. Additionally, she sewed her children many clothes and costumes. She also was an avid designer. She used her talent that God gave her to make her home and world a beautiful space.After taking care of her young children and being a volunteer in the school system, she began her teaching career as a a substitute teacher for special needs children. She then became an art/drafting/mechanical drawing teacher at St. Mary's High School in Annapolis. She lead many new and exciting art adventures in her teaching years including an arts crafts day held annually.She was a volunteer at Sacred Heart Church, a member of Sacred Heart Solidity and Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Council 2577. She was a volunteer driver of Operation Outreach. She was also a den mother for the Boys Scouts and was involved with the Girls Scouts of America.
