Eloise Dixon Fleming, was born in Brundidge, Alabama on January 20, 1951 to Charley Dixon and Betsy Mae Reeves. She was the youngest child for her family with both of her parents proceeding her in death. Eloise fell a sleep in death on April 1, 2021 at her home in Maryland.
Eloise attended the local high school in Brundidge Alabama. Shortly after graduating high school, Eloise entered Military Service where she was stationed at Walter Read Army Medical Center in Washington, DC.
While serving at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 1970, she met the love of her life, Elyose Fleming. They were married on August 31, 1971 thus ending her career in Military service to start her new role as wife.
Eloise and Elyose became not only husband and wife, but partners in life. Eloise and her Husband traveled extensively while her husband was in Military service. They traveled to places like Hawaii, Europe and other areas within the United States before settling permanently in Landover Hills, Maryland.
Eloise worked for several years as a Data Entry Clerk and a Payroll Clerk in the Washington, DC area. Eloise attended the Yorktown Business School, were she studied Accounting. Once she completed school she landed a job working as an Accounting Specialist in Jessup, Maryland and worked there until her early retirement.
Eloise loved to cook and showcased that ability for her family and friends during her famous cookouts. She loved to laugh and she enjoyed being with her family and friends. Her love of dancing and music landed her an appearance on Soul Train. She loved to pamper herself by getting her nails done.
She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Elyose Fleming.
Her surviving siblings include one sister: Sally McGuire of East Orange, New Jersey and one brother: Jimmy Dixon of Brundidge Alabama. Sisters In-Love: Susie Fleming and Ruth Bridges (Selman) both of Temple, Texas and three brothers In-Love: Archie L. Fleming, Jr (Terri) and Richard E. Fleming (Shelia) both of Temple, Texas.
She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
