Fouad "Al" Al-Jinabi, 77, of Bowie, MD, passed away on September 5, 2022.
Fouad was a force of nature, full of energy and gusto for everything he did. He was always determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of his children and always wanted the best for them.
Born in Bagdad, Iraq on July 14, 1945, Fouad headed to the US at 26 years old. Engineer by trade, Fouad was a passionate aviator, outdoorsman and entrepreneur. Al had a lot of stamina, which seemed to increase as he got older. He could often be found tending to his plane at the airport, at home entertaining and cooking for friends, going to Virginia to visit friends, or working on a business deal. Al was always on the move to say the least. His love of the great outdoors had been a constant in his life and he always looked forward to the hunting seasons. Anyone who knew Fouad knew that he couldn't sit still and loved living life to the fullest.
There is no one like Al and there will never be. We will be telling his stories and stories about him forever. Just the way he would have wanted it.
Fouad was predeceased by his wife Janet Turcotte and ex-wife Amina Aziz Al-Jinabi. He is survived by his daughters Lemeya, Nahla, and stepchildren Stacey and Trudy along with his grandchildren whom he loved so very much. He is missed by all but will continue to live vibrantly through his stories and the love each of us had for him.
