Francis Xavier Woods

Francis “Frank” Xavier Woods of Bowie, MD died peacefully on June 14, 2022.  He was a 1978 Bowie High school Graduate. After High School, Frank served in the Air Force for 4 years, honorably discharged as a Sergeant.  Frank then went on to college, earning a Bachelors of Science degree at UMD and later earning a CPA.  Frank most recently was employed by the U.S. Federal Government, Department of Agriculture, where he worked for 17 years before retiring in 2021." 

Frank was a fun-loving guy with a quick wit! He was a huge sports fan, cheering on the Ravens, Orioles and especially his beloved CAPS! He was extremely passionate about music and an avid guitar and drum player.
One of his favorite activities was riding his Harleys on a nice day.

Frank was a father of 3 boys, whom he loved with all of his heart. He was a selfless and dedicated dad. Frank is survived by his 3 sons, Kevin, Nicolas, and Brian, his siblings Miriam (Paul), Joe (Susie) and Tom, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
