George C. Abell, Sr.

George C. Abell Sr. (86) passed peacefully on October 18, 2024. George was born on February 20, 1938 and was raised in Bowie, MD. He married Natalie Pisapia in 1970, and they remained in Bowie until 2016 when they left their home to move to Harwood, MD with their son George and his family. George spent most of his life working hard as a brick mason. He also enjoyed hunting and archery in his younger years. He is well known for his love of cigars, old westerns and watching Family Feud.

George is survived by his wife, Natalie Abell and his children George Abell Jr. (Liz), Lisa Lisko (Rick), Billy Brandt (Stacy) and Karen Burke (Ed). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Cory Brandt, Kyle Brandt, Timothy Burke, Ryan Abell and Reagan Abell.

There will be an open house Celebration of Life for George on Saturday, November 2nd starting at 2pm. We ask that friends and family join us at our home (4425 Windsor Farm Rd Harwood, MD 20776) to share a fond memory and a toast to George's life.
