George S. Karabelas, on November 25 2018, Baltimore entrepreneur George Karabelas, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. George, a hair dresser,salon owner and restauranteur, was passionate about life and lived it to its fullest. Beloved father of Steve Karabelas and his wife Janine, Dimitri Karabelas, Aris Karabelas and his wife Helen, and Georgia Karabelas and her husband Justus. Devoted grandfather to George G. Karabelas, Christopher Karabelas, Mary Karabelas and George C. Karabelas. Loving brother to Helen Sophocles. Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 5pm to 8pm at Peaceful Alternatives, 2325 York Road, Timonium, MD with a Trisaghion service at 6pm. Mr. Karabelas will lie-in-repose at the Greek Orthodox of the Annunciation Church, 24 W. Preston Street, Baltimore, MD on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 10am to 10:30am when the funeral service will begin. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
