Golda Ellen Quesinberry died peacefully at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a brief illness on January 4, 2025.
Golda was born to Brook Boyles and Franklin B. Lynch in Meadows of Dan, Virginia on September 2, 1928. She was raised there and met her husband and love of her life, Arden Quesinberry, when they were young children. She was a secretary for various entities, the last of which was Westinghouse where Arden also worked. They celebrated 71 years of the happiest of marriages before Arden predeceased Golda in 2016.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Allen and husband, Steven of Bowie, MD and her son, Philip Quesinberry and wife, Vicky of Severn, MD. She is predeceased by her brothers, Wilburn Lynch and Ruffin Lynch. Golda also loved, and was loved by, two young grandchildren, Dylan Lee Arden Allen and Colton Quinn Allen of Bowie, MD.
Golda loved piano music and flowers. Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering on January 30, 2025 at the Beall Funeral Home at 6512 NW Crain Highway, Bowie, MD, 20715 from 2 to 4 pm. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later time.
