Helga M. Felbinger

Helga M. Felbinger, 85 of Crofton, Maryland passed away peacefully on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Seasons Hospice in Baltimore, Maryland.  She demonstrated tremendous strength for almost a month after sustaining a serious brain injury that only one in 10,000 could survive.

Helga was born in Sien, Germany near Idar-Oberstein on October 8, 1935 to Hugo Schuck and Martha Winter Schuck.  She grew up in Germany as a little girl during WWII.  Helga graduated from High School in Sien in July 1950.   As a military wife she lived in different parts of the world. She became a US Citizen in October 1967. She worked in various jobs including waitressing, babysitting, retail, and bank management.   When she and her husband, Tom retired, they had memorable vacations and adventures. Helga enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing games, and crabbing.   She was a cat lover and a sports fan and enjoying many Washington Football games.

Helga is survived by her husband of 64 years,Thomas A. Felbinger, Sr; two daughters Patricia Felbinger and Linda Crawford; one son Thomas Felbinger, Jr., “Oma” had six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  She was very loved and will always be in the hearts of those she left behind.
