On Thursday, October 18, 2018, Hilda Duron unexpectedly passed away at her home in Bowie, MD at the age of 76. Hilda was the beloved wife of Manuel Duron, her husband of 50 years, and the proud mother of Frank, Lucia (Michael), Diana and Veronica (Matthew). She was also grandmother to Skylar, Isabella, Austin, CJ and Cassidy. Hilda grew up in Colombia before moving to Washington, DC and meeting her future husband. They married and traveled the world before settling down in Bowie to raise their family. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, and was an active member of Sacred Heart Church for 42 years. Hilda will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy (Rt 3 South), Bowie, MD from 6pm to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Chapel, 16501 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD, on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 11am. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation, 3152 Little Road, Suite 146, Trinity, Florida 34655.
