On Thursday, August 2, 2018, of New Carrollton, MD. Beloved husband of the late Betty A. Highsmith; loving father of Glenn B. Highsmith (Terry), Gary L. Highsmith and Alice Lentz (Paul). Dear grandfather of Steven, Lauren, Judy, Lisa, Brian, Michelle, Courtney and Katelynn and seven great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm. A funeral service will be held at All Saints Lutheran Church, 16510 Mt Oak Rd. Bowie, MD on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 11am. Interment, Fort Lincoln, Brentwood, MD. If desired, contributions may be made to The Disabled Vets 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076 or American Legion Post 136, 6900 Greenbelt Rd, Greenbelt MD 20770.
