Ismael Anthony Diaz

  In loving memory of Ismael “Tony” Diaz, born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on February 11, 1953 and passed away August 28, 2020.  He is survived by his beloved wife Rose; his children, Anthony (Brittany), Tenley, and Stephen; his sister Jennie Guilbaud and brother Chris Flester.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Sgt. Ismael Diaz and Hilda Aponte Diaz; and his brother, Jose Diaz. He was a brother-in-law and uncle to many and a friend to all he met.  He was a longtime resident of Baltimore, though he lived all around the world throughout his life, traveling first with his father’s military appointments, then with his own.

Visitation will be held at Beall Funeral Home, Wednesday September 2nd from 6-8pm. 6512 NW Crain Highway (Route 3 South), Bowie, MD 20715.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Chapel (on the hill), Thursday September 3rd at 11am. 16501 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715.

Internment at Maryland Veterans’ Cemetery in Crownsville, private to immediate family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
