Jacob O. Shodiya

Jacob Oladele Alao Shodiya was born on February 28th, 1957. He was the second son of Chief Isaiah Ishola Olatubosun Shodiya and Felicia Ajiun Shodiya. He attended African Church primary school, in Ogun state. He proceeded to College in Yaba, Lagos, for his secondary school education. He was a professional soccer player for Ogun State Housing Corporation.
In 1980, he came to the United States to join his brother. There he started University, where he attained degrees from both Strayer and Georgetown Universities. He returned to Nigeria, and on Christmas day, December 25th, 1982, he married his wife, Rachel Taiwo Ogunsan.
He was a serial business creator - some of the businesses he started include Real Estate, Tax preparation business, and Airline Shuttle business to name a few.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Taiwo Shodiya, his son Jacob Olumayowa Shodiya Jr., his daughter Grace Yetunde Shodiya, and his grandchildren, Deborah Ajiun Speaks, and James Alao Speaks, preceded by his daughter Victoria Olayinka Shodiya.
