In loving memory of “Jacqualine” Suzanne Bennett, who passed at 74 years of age November, 26th, 2023 in Annapolis, Maryland. Suzanne was a loving mother to her four children, Jon Crider, Rachel Toledo, Jordan Bennett and Victoria Proctor. And, grandmother to six grandchildren, one of which she is reunited with in heaven, along with her late parents Donald and Mary Jo Roberson, her brother Bruce Seybert and her Aunt Irene. She is also survived by her three siblings, Jeannie Longnecker, Maricatherine Hopper, David Seybert, her ex-husband Reginald Bennett and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and colleagues.
Suzanne was a woman full of joy, giving, creativity and love. Born in Elwood Indiana, raised in Pennsylvania, and would make a home in Maryland. A dedicated wood worker, whose works ranged from small cabinet jobs, to the set of the The Tonight Show. A master of her trade later in life. In her early 20s she was the first female ship welder to join Dravon Corp in Pittsburgh, and a member of the army reserves, proud to dedicate herself to her country. An avid piano player, a woman of God with a singing voice that could fill you with every bit of emotion she would carry in each of her notes.
She was a strong, resilient, and compassionate woman, whose love had no limits. Who will continue to be a reminder to all who knew her. Who made Christmas mornings special, holidays important, birthdays unforgettable. She loved being a grandmother, a host at parties; she wanted people to feel her love unconditionally. She was her children's biggest supporter, pushing them to follow their dreams, whatever they may be. They were the light of her life, that she wanted to shine as bright as possible.
May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she gave this world, and with the love we hold in our hearts for her forever.
