James F. Lambert, Jr.

James (Jim) Franklin Lambert, Jr., 76, passed away Sunday, 6 January 2019. He was born 25 December 1942 to Margaret Rose (nee D'Antonio) and James F. Lambert, Sr.  

He is the beloved husband of Cecilia Ann Lambert (nee Radomski), father of James Franklin Lambert, III; brother-in-law Helen Kalis and her husband Jay Kalis and the late Mary Margaret Smith,.  He is the loving uncle of Kevin Kalis and his wife Annie, devoted great uncle of Maggie, Molly and Ben Kalis.

Jim graduated from Baltimore City College High School (1960).  He happily celebrated his holiday- birthday year-round when he worked at George Franke Sons Company, a manufacturer and importer of fine glass Christmas ornaments.  He proudly worked seventeen years in production at Coca-Cola U.S.A., E. Fort Ave., Baltimore, MD.

Jim was a devoted parishioner of Catholic Community of South Baltimore (St. Mary's Star of the Sea and Our Lady of Good Counsel).  In the late-1960s/early 1970's, Jim was a Catholic Youth Organization mentor (Our Lady of Good Counsel). Jim served on St. Mary's Parish Counsel and volunteered at the annual St. Patrick's Day Dinner and Bull/Oyster Roasts.

Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Jim was a coach and manager of several South Baltimore Little/Senior League teams. Massachusetts, California and Oregon were places Jim frequently visited with his wife, sister-in-law Mary Margaret and son.   Jim treasured his trips to China (Shanghai, Macau and Hong Kong) and Ireland.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rt. 3 South), Bowie, MD.  A second viewing will be held at St. Mary's Star of the Sea, 1400 Riverside Ave., Baltimore, MD. Friday, January 11, 2019 from 10am to 11am followed by a Service from 11am to 12 noon.  Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, 6020 Ritchie Hwy, Baltimore, MD, from 12:30 to 1:00pm.
