James (Jas.) Lewis Powell, a beloved father, son, brother, cousin and uncle passed away on November 22, 2024. Born on April 23, 1976, to Shari and Hank, Jas was a man of many dimensions—a brilliant mind and a unique spirit who changed the lives of those who knew him. Jas was known for his love of Paydays and Twizzlers, his passion for books, poetry, and his eye for home décor that reflected his singular creativity. Jas. was the proud father of two children, Dmitri and Thalia, with whom he shared cherished moments, whether video gaming with Dmitri or diving into books with Thalia. He is deeply missed by his parents, Shari and Hank; his children; his siblings, Henry “Jay” Powell and Heather Silver; cousins, nieces, and nephews, friends and colleagues. Inna Powell chose to conduct a private memorial service in memory of James. Shari and Hank Powell chose to conduct the services listed below.
