Jean Frances Davis

January 14, 1938 — June 26, 2024

Annapolis

Jean Frances Beall Davis was born on January 14, 1938 in Washington, D.C to Aurthur & Violet Beall, best known as Pap & Nana. She passed away at home peacefully after battling dementia for years. She went home to be with the Lord on June 26, 2024. With her husband, George H. Davis, they raised 7 children in a modest home in Lanham, MD for 21 years. They moved to Annapolis, MD where they’ve been for the last 42 years. She was a good & loving mom and a friend to everyone she met.

She is survived by her children Terri Rosasco (Mickey), Deborah Davis, Carolyn Hawley (Patrick), Sue Bailey (Bill), and Michael Davis (Chrissy), 14 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George H. Davis, and 2 sons Richard J. Davis & Dr. William C. Davis, and her bff Lucy Meyers Smith.

Jean was a homemaker while raising her family. Then she worked as a cashier for Safeway for 25 years. She loved her job and enjoyed meeting so many people. One of her favorite hobbies was baking cookies & she made the best! She always shared with family, friends, & professional acquaintances and she knew everyone’s favorite flavor. All were made with love. She donated to so many causes in her life that her mailbox was overstuffed daily with postcards & letters asking for her help. She always remembered birthdays & sent cards to so many. She was a kind & caring lady that will be missed by many.
