Jeffery Garnto

Jeffery Garnto (Age 58) passed away on November 7, 2019 after injuries sustained during a bicycle accident on October, 28, 2019.  Jeffery was born on August 22, 1961 in Eustis, Florida to Angelyn (Reeves) and Prangle Garnto.  He was raised in Cochran, Georgia and graduated from Bleckley County High School in 1979.  Jeffery proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1981 to 1985 and remained a proud Marine for the balance of his life.  After his years of service to the Marine Corps, Jeffery earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Georgia in 1989.  Shortly thereafter, he began working for the U.S. Census Bureau as a computer programmer.  He would take on his most rewarding role in 1992 with the birth of his daughter, Heather Nicole Garnto.  Jeffery was a devoted and loving father and cherished this role.  He was an extremely giving person and lived his values.  He will be remembered for his acts of service to others, his kind and quiet nature and his willingness of adventure with his closest friends.  He was an avid cyclist and a pillar in his community.  He lives on through all who were fortunate to know him.  He is deeply loved and will be deeply missed.

Jeffery Garnto is preceded by his father Prangle Garnto and is survived by his mother Angelyn (Reeves) Garnto, his brother Michael Garnto, his sister Pamela (Garnto) Mimbs, his daughter Heather Garnto, his nieces Megan Amber (Mimbs) Parrish, Amanda Parker Mimbs, Mary Elizabeth Mimbs, his nephews Benjamin Prangle Mimbs and John Rastus Mimbs and countless Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.  A celebration of Life for Jeffery Garnto will be held at Beall Funeral Home on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm.
