Jennifer Hughes Miller

Jennifer (Jenny) Hughes Miller March 6, 1969 – March 20, 2021

  Jennifer (meaning “The Fair One”) lovingly known as Jenny by her family and friends

 lost the battle with cancer on March 20, 2021 after a long, year and a half fight. She had successfully beaten breast cancer in 2018 but in late 2019 was diagnosed with colon cancer that quickly metastasized to her liver and spine.

 Jenny was a loving wife of 32 years and devoted mother, she is survived by her husband, Chris and daughters, Ashley M Tharp (26) and Erin M Miller (19) as well as her granddaughter, Ali L Tharp (7), father, Larry Hughes, brothers, Raymond Hughes and Richard Hughes.

Jenny made friends easily and always had a kind word and smile, she was a good friend to everyone she met; she was well loved by those who knew her.

She volunteered with the National Wild Turkey Federation on the state board as well as being a Maryland Hunting Safety instructor with her husband.

 She loved sewing, a good romance novel, trap shooting, camping and country music as well as being with family and friends.

 Her favorite time of year was Christmas.

 She lived and loved the meaning of her name and was truly “The Fair One”.

She will be missed but never forgotten because she will be forever in our hearts.
