Jennifer Anne Simon

Jennifer Anne Simon (“Jenny”) age 37, died on June 18, 2021, in Glen Arden, Maryland.

Jennifer is survived by her parents John H. Simon, Jr. and Maura Pope; her son Justin Williams and his father Jonathan Williams; her older brother John H. Simon, III; her older sister Amanda Hayes and her brother-in-law Joseph Hayes, Sr.; her nephews Joseph Hayes, II and Josiah Hayes, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jennifer was born on January 18, 1984, in Okinawa, Japan to parents John and Maura Simon. She attended Bowie High School, in Bowie, MD and Largo High School in Largo, MD. Jennifer lived in Okinawa, Japan; Los Angeles, California; Massena, New York; Washington, DC; PG County, Maryland and Stafford County, Virginia throughout her life. She held various retail, residential cleaning and elderly caregiver jobs since she was 17 years old.

Jennifer was a proud mother, and a loving daughter, sister and friend. She was ever social, always active and on the go. She enjoyed singing, cooking gumbo and other hearty foods, travelling, doing word puzzles, reading, and watching movies.  Her family and friends will always remember her as a funny, witty and determined, if not stubborn, person. She will be sorely missed and forever remembered.
