John Lloyd died unexpectedly at his home in Baltimore County, Maryland. John was the youngest child of Charles and Irene Lloyd. He was born in Silver Spring, Maryland on December 6, 1964 and grew up in the new community of Bowie, Maryland. He played on Bowie Boys & Girls Sports Teams, and swam at Bath & Tennis Pool. He rode his bike at Fox Hill Park and went on day trips to the Chesapeake Bay. He loved crabs. His favorite activity was playing golf at Bowie Golf Course with his Father. It was a lifelong passion for him and he was very good.
John graduated from Bowie High School in 1982. He attended Prince Georges Community College and received his AA in Accounting. He worked for accounting offices and for tax preparation companies. John started a new chapter in Baltimore. He was active in the Salvation Army and John made friends easily.
His parents predeceased him: Charles and Irene Lloyd; He leaves behind his two sisters, Laura Seda and Jacqueline I. Bottega; Laura’s husband, children and grandchildren: Joe Seda, Caroline Gallagher [daughter] and Pat Gallagher and their two children, Charlotte and Teddy; Laura’s two sons, Steven Seda and Charlie Seda, and Jacqueline’s children Michael Bottega Jr. and Sophia Bottega. He also leaves his Uncle, James Smith of the Bronx. John, life will not be the same without you.
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little but not too long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me but let me go.
Christina Rossetti
