John C. Peach

On Sunday January 19, 2020, John C. Peach, loving husband and father of two children passed away at the age of 71. John was born April 23, 1948 in Cheverly, MD, to James "Ham" Peach and Daphne Green Peach.

John grew up in Bowie, MD, and graduated from Frederick Sasscer High School in 1967. He proudly served in the Naval Reserves thru December 1968. John married Nancy Huntington Peach in January 1973. They resided in Gambrills and Davidsonville, MD.

John was always a hard worker and put his all in everything he did. In his youth John had a passion for customizing and building race cars, and won several awards. As an adult his passion evolved into helping people. For over 40 years he owned businesses in Bowie, MD. First, Mitchellville Exxon and later, Harbour Way Exxon. His work was his ministry. Anyone who ever needed a helping hand found it there.

John's hobbies were building go-karts with his younger brother Eric, skiing, and escaping to Ocean City, MD, with family when time permitted. They attended Mount Oak Church and Mid-Atlantic Community Church.

John was preceded in death by his mother and father, and Uncle Herndon Peach. He is survived by wife, Nancy, daughter, Pam, son, James; sisters, Barbara Seddon, and Sandra Peach, brother, Eric Peach, Aunt Mary Peach, Aunt Ida Peach Brady, nephews, Paul Seddon, Jason Peach, and neices, Cara Roa, and Shannon Marie Jackson.

John will be greatly missed by all who called him friend or family.

Family will receive friends Tuesday January 28, 2020 from 11am to 12pm at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Highway (Route 3 South) Bowie, Md. 20715 where a funeral service will begin at 12pm.  There will be a luncheon following the service at Mid Atlantic Community Church, 2485 Davidsonville Road, Gambrills, Md. 21054.
