John Mark Titcomb

John M. Titcomb, 39, of Crofton, Maryland passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019 surrounded by family and friends.

John was born on August 10, 1980 in Cheverly, MD. The son of James Michael Titcomb (deceased) and Sharon Titcomb Drew, John grew up in the town of Crofton, MD and graduated from Arundel High School and Anne Arundel Community College.

He was a beloved son, devoted father of Circe (11) and Tristan (9), brother of Bill, his twin Jason, and the late Jim Titcomb, uncle to Michael, Melissa, Hailey, Cailin and Cora and brother-in-law to Courtney Titcomb, Cathy Gillen Titcomb, Cynda McLain and Rachel Titcomb.  He is also survived by his Uncle Bill Oliver and Aunt Karen, cousins Amy and Danny; his Uncle Larry Oliver and Aunt Lexi, cousins Lisa, Lori and Joey; his Uncle Bob Oliver and his Uncle Carl and Aunt Linda, cousins Laura and Carey.  He is also survived by his children’s mother Gina Esposito.

John played lacrosse in school and loved to cook.  He spent his career as a chef working for some of the area’s best known restaurants including Rips, Christopher’s and Allison’s.  He loved spending time with his children and watching and rooting on local sports teams including the Washington Redskins, Nationals and Capitals. 

The family will receive visitors Friday night, October 18, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Community United Methodist Church at 1690 Riedel Road, Crofton, MD 21114 where a memorial service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 10 a.m.
