Johnie Edwin Lambert

Johnie Edwin Lambert, Sr., passed away suddenly on July 9, 2022 at the age of 62.  He is survived by his daughter Michelle Lambert and son Johnie Lambert, Jr.; his parents Johnie and Nancy Lambert; sister Jennifer Holt (Kemper), brothers Joseph Lambert (Yasemin) and Jason Lambert (Lisa).  Johnie also leaves behind his three beautiful grandchildren Daniel, Mason and Makenna; nieces Tessa Whitmer (Weston) and Zeynep Lambert, and nephew Blaide Lambert; and great-niece Madison Whitmer and great-nephew Weston Whitmer, Jr.; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Johnie grew up in Hyattsville, Maryland and was a friend to anyone he met. It brought him great joy to make people laugh and see them smile.  He loved music, motorcycles, old movies (especially westerns), and could not resist any dog that came across his path.  He especially loved his little dog, Huckleberry. He was loved dearly by his family and friends and will leave a hole in our hearts. We will forever hold him in our hearts and cherish the memories of his many pranks and laughter he left us.

In lieu of flowers we ask that a donation be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Johnie.
