It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved brother Jonathon David Fluck, a resident of Washington, D.C. Jon was born in Easton, PA in 1955 to Betsy and Karl Fluck. He will be greatly missed by his five siblings Skip, Ron, Alan (Ouida), Brenda (Jim), Teresa (Terry), his longtime companion Donna, many nieces and nephews and his Deaf Reach family. Special thanks to the staff of Deaf Reach for their care and support of Jon for so many years. Jon worked at St. Elizabeth’s hospital until his retirement. Jon was an avid sports participant in high school at the American School for the Deaf and was the starting quarterback and punter in addition to being a starting guard for the basketball team. Jon is listed in Who’s Who in American high schools. Jon was unselfish. We will especially miss his subtle sense of humor and his warm smile. Jon loved his family, watching sports on TV, a good hot dog, his brothers' chocolate chip cookies, his Easter basket and Christmas stocking.
