Joseph J. Bascietto

Joseph Bascietto of Bowie, MD, beloved father of John J. Bascietto of Bowie, MD and Carol Ryan of Troy, New York; the beloved spouse of the late Joanna (“Jean’) Bascietto. “Joe” as he was known to his friends and family, was a proud World War II veteran of the Pacific War (1942- 1946). He served in the Philippines and other South Pacific islands under Gen. Douglas McArthur. Later a broadcast technician, television cameraman and retiree of the National Broadcasting Company, he spent his long career at the NBC Studios, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York City, NY, retiring to Florida in the 1980s and Maryland in 2011.  He passed on January 19, 2021 at the age of 98.
